Margaret Beaufort was born on May 31, 1443. Her place of birth is Bletsoe Castle in Bedfordshire in England. She died on June 29, 1509. Her place of death is London in England. She was a prominent figure during her time and she played important part in politics.
She was in support of Tudor culture and she helped her son to become king. Henry VII was her son and she played important role to eliminate all obstacles in the path of her son so that he can get the throne and become ruler at that time. Margaret Beaufort also made colleges and supported education which gave a lot of benefits to the whole nation.

Role in politics
Margaret Beaufort played an important role in politics. She was wise and intelligent and she had experience to deal with different types of political issues. Different types of tricks were played at that time and people were using bad politics for getting benefits.
Margaret Beaufort was aware of these tricks and used her experience and wisdom to deal with these problems. Due to her good policies and understanding of politics she got a lot of fame and success in politics and achieved many successes.

Tudor culture
Margaret Beaufort was in support of Tudor culture and she wanted to introduce and launch this culture in the kingdom. She invested a lot of money and efforts to make sure that Tudor culture can get fame and popularity in public.
Her efforts were successful and people started to like Tudor culture and also adopted different customs and modes of living in this culture. Margaret Beaufort continued to gain power and strength and her popularity was also increasing as she was working hard and with support of the public.



Support for her son
Henry VII was son of Margaret Beaufort and she worked hard and used different means to make sure that her son can become king. Due to her efforts Henry VII got success in the famous Battle of Bosworth Field.
He defeated Richard III who was king and ruler at that time. This ends an era and also started a new era in which Henry VII got power and became new king and ruler. This gave Margaret Beaufort more strength and power and now she was able to promote her culture and vision in an effective manner.

Welfare for nation
Margaret Beaufort was in favour of nation and she wanted to give education to people. She made colleges and institutions to make sure that people can get education and learn different types of skills.
She was a prominent figure at that time and she achieved such success and fame which were not usual for women at that time. She saw different times in her life and faced ups and downs. She was aware of problems of general public due to which she started different tasks related with welfare of public.
She made many famous colleges and institutes for public which helped them to learn new skills and arts which can improve their life and give them wisdom. Due to great work and efforts of Margaret Beaufort, her name will remain alive in books of history for a long time period.
