      Lady Jane Grey was born on October 1537. Her place of birth was in London in United Kingdom. She died on February 12, 1554. Her place of death was in Tower of London in United Kingdom. She is also famous as Nine Days Queen as her rule lasted for only nine days.

      That small rule was a challenge in which Lady Jane Grey lost and that challenge cost her, a lot, and her rule and life was also lost due to losing this challenge. It is also said that Lady Jane Grey was not willing to become queen at that time and she was given the throne by ministers and other people in power for their own benefits.

      Circumstances leading to death



      That time was filled with troubles and tricks and people in power have made groups to protect their rights. Lady Jane Grey became a victim to those tricks and she was charged with treason and given punishment of death with her husband. Both were killed on the same day and that was a great shock for the whole kingdom.
      Politicians at that time also played an important role in death of Lady Jane Grey and her husband. They used legal ways to prove Lady Jane Grey and her husband as treason and threat for the kingdom. They also proved that Lady Jane Grey and her husband do not deserve the throne and kingdom.

      Lady Jane Grey was very intelligent and she was taught by good teachers. Some of her quotes are very famous which show her wisdom.

      “The crown is not my right, and pleaseth me not”
      This quote from Lady Jane Grey shows that she was not willing to get the crown. She was happy with her simple life and working for the welfare of the country and the whole kingdom. However due to tricks and bad politics at that time she was given the crown and charge for the whole nation.
      That was a small duration rule which also lead to her death. But she was not trying to get the crown and she was not a threat for the nation. But circumstances at that time proved that she wanted to get the crown and she was a threat to the nation due to which she was punished and sentenced to death at an early age.

        “All their sport in the park is but a shadow to that pleasure that I find in Plato; alas good folk, they never felt what true pleasure meant”
      This is a quote from Lady Jane Grey which shows that she was wise and she had experienced different situations in life. At an early age she worked at high positions in royal family and faced different types of situations and solved different types of problems. Due to her wisdom and abilities she was also granted the kingdom and throne.
      However she was victim of bad politics at that time which lead to her death at an early age. Her death shocked the whole nation but circumstances at that time lead to that strange decision by the royal family.
      She was able to deal with different types of cases in her life and at a small age she got such a wisdom and power of decision making due to which she is living in hearts of many people at present. Her name will live forever in books of history due to her remarkable achievements during her life time.
