      Pocahontas was born in 1596 and died in 1617. She was native American ( American Indian) , daughter of a chief and at that time the system of tribes was common. Her father was a chief of a tribe therefore she was famous and known to many people in the tribe. Her main tasks were related with making friendly relations among people in the tribe. She was held hostage in 1612 but met and married a colonist John Rolfe. Pocohontas is a Powhatan tribe, nickname meaning “Playful” or “Spoiled child” , but her real name was Matoaka .

       

      At that time there were issues with people who were locals and who were not locals. Pocahontas tried to make good relations among people and helped them in many ways. She died at an early age but her life was filled with struggle and efforts for the benefits of humanity. She was in favor of justice and truth and fought for the rights of humans. Many games and movies are also made on the character of Pocahontas.



      Without this Native American’s help the first American colony in Jamestown of Virginia would have failed. She fed the colonists and helped secure peace between them and the local Native Americans. She died at the age of 21 due to Smallpox complication. After her death , her son Thomas became an important leader in the colony.

      Different quotes are related with Pocahontas which shows her wisdom and thoughts about life and experiences. Many important things can be learnt with the help of these quotes.

      Sometimes the right path is not always the easiest.
      This is a quote from Pocahontas in which she says that right path can be filled with difficulties. There are many paths in life and many types of decisions are to be made on a regular basis. Some of the decisions are right while some are wrong. It is important to work in the right path and choose the right direction whether it is hard or easy.
      When you are working in the right manner and on the right path then put your efforts for success. Keep in mind that the right path is not the easiest. You may face with obstacles in the right path but you have to keep the right path as the success is associated and linked with the right path. If you are choosing the wrong path then you will suffer from losses and troubles.

      There are many people who think that wrong path can give benefits but in fact the wrong path is filled with problems and troubles. If you get some profits in wrong path in start then keep in mind that these are temporary. In order to get permanent success it is important to choose the right path and work in the right direction.
      You can face with problems when you are on the right path however there are many easy things as well and in the end you will get success as you have chosen the right path.

      Listen with your heart, you will understand.
      This is a quote from Pocahontas in which she says that understanding is associated with heart. When you are listening and paying attention with your heart then you are able to understand easily. It is important to focus on important things in life. There are many chances in life which are given to humans on a regular basis.
      Many people keep their eyes open and get benefits from chances in life. There are many other humans who ignore the chances in life and remain unsuccessful. There are many chances of success in life but the main thing is to focus on them.
      The time which is lost cannot come back but the present time can be used for getting success. You can learn from past time and understand your actions so that you can put efforts in present time to get success.
