Jonas Salk was born in 28th October, 1914 in New York, United States to Russian-Jewish immigrants. He was the first in his family to attend University. Jonas Salk died on 23rd June,1995 in California, United States. He was an American Virologist and he worked in many projects with success. His main success was the making of vaccine for polio virus due to which he got a lot of fame and international recognition. He did not patent his polio vaccine because, he said he did not want to profit it. He wanted to make it as widely available as possible. Jonas Salk spent his final years in the lab working on a vaccine for the AIDS virus.

Polio vaccine
Jonas Salk announced in 26th March, 1953 that he had made the polio vaccine. He decided not to patent the vaccine so that it can be distributed to all over the world for benefits of humans. He made an extensive research on polio virus and found that there are three types of viruses which cause polio.

He worked hard and successfully made a vaccine for polio. In that vaccine a killed virus was used to help the body to make immunity against polio. His approach for making a vaccine for polio also helped other researchers for making different types of vaccines. At that time polio was a big issue and many researchers were busy on researches to make some sort of treatment of this issue. Jonas Salk also contributed in such researches and successfully made a vaccine for polio which is still used these days in order to remain safe from polio.

Jonas Salk was a hard working person and a skilled professional in medical field. He also made different types of quotes which are filled with wisdom and guidance for others. He worked hard in his life and set many good examples for others to come. His contributions in the medical field are giving benefits to the mankind from all over the world.

This is a quote from Jonas Salk in which he focused on hope. All humans have hope and they see dreams and also set goals in life. There are many other people who have similar hopes and they also contribute to you to achieve these hopes. It is important to have hopes and try to complete those hopes.
Mind is filled with ideas and hopes but the main thing is to work hard so that those hopes can be completed and desired results could be obtained. Jonas Salk worked hard in his life and got good results and success. He had hopes and imaginations and dreams and he also worked hard so that he could complete his hopes and achieve his goals.

“I have had dreams and I have had nightmares, but I have conquered my nightmares because of my dreams”

This is a quote from Jonas Salk in which he gave some details about his dreams and his nightmares. It means that it is not easy to achieve dreams and get success. If you set high goals then make sure to work hard and face all the challenges and troubles. Setting high goals is not a hard task but working hard to achieve those high goals is the real thing which makes the differences.
Different opportunities are available to different humans and they have to work hard in order to get success. Those who are not working hard are not able to get success in any field of life. And those who work hard are able to get good results. So be ready to work hard if you want to get success in life.
